Euro banknotes and various foreign banknotes emissions have indeed sensitive to infrared inks on their surface as anti-forgery system.

How it works
Place the VB-IR "The Sphinx" vertically in the area highlighted in white bill with the front facing you. Pressing START button and verifier will give you answer on the reading done, as specified below:
- Red LED "OK" on 1 beep: the bill has inked INFRARED ON THE SURFACE
- Intermittent sound and lighting of the LED "FAKE" means banknotes counterfeit '
After the reading, leave the START button.
Any kind of result from a reading done from the areas identified should not be taken into account.
